Program Description:

Terrence J. and Carol W. Miller Scholarship

The Terrence J. and Carol W. Miller Scholarship is available to students at the University of Dayton who are pursuing a major within the School of Business Administration (SBA).  This scholarship has been established to assist students with the education costs of an educational experience abroad. Terry Miller earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Dayton in 1981. He has volunteered as a Reunion Committee member and is currently a member of the Business Advisory Council at UD. He and his wife Carol have been generous supporters of the University of Dayton.
 
Criteria for Eligibility:
Students who are eligible for this scholarship will be automatically considered if they agree to this in their program application. There is no application for this scholarship.
  • Be a full-time undergraduate student at the University of Dayton.
  • Be pursuing a major within the School of Business Administration.
  • Be in good academic and disciplinary standing with the university (currently).
  • Have demonstrated financial need.
  • Have an active application open in Studio Abroad for a specific program.
Considerations:
  • Preference will be given to students participating in a UD-managed education abroad program or the Global Learning Academy (any field study).
  • All other grants and aid toward the experience will be taken into consideration when making awards.
  • Students who receive tuition remission are only eligible to receive scholarship funds covering costs above and beyond tuition.
  • There is a maximum of one award per student. 
  • Priority will be given to female students.
