Program Description:

Marista University of Merida Exchange

About the Program

Located in the Yucatan in the Gulf coast region of Mexico, Universidad Marista de Merida offers students an educational experience in the Marist charism, which embraces simplicity, a family-oriented environment, and a respect for social justice. With courses focusing on Spanish language, Mayan culture and history, Business, Humanities, or Civil Engineering, this exchange offers a unique experience near the Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza, Mayapan, and Uxmal. Internships may be available to UD students.

Eligibility

Students must be in good academic and disciplinary standing.

Pre-departure Orientation

Students will be required to participate in a pre-departure orientation in the semester prior to their program participation.  Dates and times will be announced.

Cost and Refund Policy

Students will be responsible for UD Tuition (billed by UD), as well as the room, board, and travel costs associated with this program (arranged independently).  Most financial aid will apply to the semester budget for each student.
