Exchange students are not charged UD tuition or university fees.  They are, however, responsible for other costs.  You should expect each semester to roughly cost $7,000 - $8,000, which includes the following estimates (as of Spring 2017):

Housing in Caldwell Apartments: $4450

Meals/Food:  Estimate of $1000 (Your housing will have a complete kitchen for the ability to prepare meals.  However, meal plans can be purchased if you would prefer to eat at our dining facilities.  To learn more about your options please click here:  https://udayton.edu/diningservices/mealplans/index.php

Books:  $300 - $450 (this will vary according to each student's schedule of courses)

Health Insurance:  $150 - $300 (you may select any plan that covers health costs while at UD)
