Overall Experience
Program Testimonials
The opportunity to live in Seoul for four months gave me a lot of important things, including friends from all over the world, chances to explore a different culture, and a broadening of my appreciation and respect for another culture. I was given the chance to observe and understand how different people from varying backgrounds think and react, and it made me a lot more culturally sensitive, as well as allowed me the chance to appreciate our cultural similarities.

Most memorable experience
Program Testimonials
I doubt I could settle with a most memorable experience - every experience I had was unique and worth treasuring. I would probably pick one of the weekly noraebang sessions I had with the international friends I made in Seoul, where we would sing until 5am in the morning and then go for cheese ramen at a small kimbab shop along the street. The shopowner knew all of us by the middle of the semester and would strike up conversations with us in stilted English, while we attempted to use our limited (but gradually increasing grasp of ) Korean to communicate with her. It was fun.

Program quality
Program Testimonials
Despite all the difficulties I had with the administrative and course registration stuff, the cultural experience was wonderful. I left Seoul feeling like I'd left a piece of myself with the friends I'd made and the places I'd visited - feeling like it had given me a lot more than I had expected.

People
Program Testimonials
I made wonderful friends who were both hilarious, very down-to-earth, receptive and constantly engaged in discovering and exploring differences. I found that the majority of people I met were not only friendly, they were enthusiastic about learning more about another culture, and all of us shared something in common - the love of traveling, learning, and of change.
