Located in the ultramodern Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP), the China Institute is unparalleled in providing internationally minded students with the opportunity to participate in tomorrow’s global world – today. SIP, home to one-third of all Fortune 500 companies and just 22 minutes from Shanghai by bullet train, is a place unlike any other, where ancient and modern China meet. As the world’s second largest economy, China is able to provide students with what the world will look like 30 years from now, now.
While building your résumé by networking with professionals from multinational and Fortune 500 companies, you will be able to experience the rich culture and history of China through various excursions and tours around the country. Whether you’re visiting the Great Wall of China or walking the tree-lined streets of Nanjing, the country’s former capital, you’ll have experiences that few people ever will.
Even though you’ll be 7,000 miles from home, the experience at the China Institute is uniquely UD. Students live together in modern apartments, with the comforts of their own bedroom and bathroom, free laundry and central heating and air-conditioning. Plus, to assist you during your time abroad, the China Institute has a dedicated Student Life professional staff member to help address any needs or concerns you may have. Our state-of-the-art learning facility is equipped with classrooms, laboratories, meeting spaces and a reading room so you can excel in your studies while enjoying the experience of a lifetime.
